Yarlington Yurt

For the ultimate Somerset experience come and stay in our award winning Yarlington yurt, nestled within the trees of our secluded 6 ½ acre orchard, on the edge of the beautiful Exmoor National Park. Yarlington is heated by way of a lovely wood burner with main electric throughout. Outside has a hand crafted outside covered kitchen/dinning area and a BBQ and fire pit area, making it the perfect get away, whatever the weather!

The space Yarlinton Yurt has been beautifully hand crafted in the UK by Millie’s Yurts of Dorset and is set in the middle of our beautiful orchard. It sleeps 2 in a bespoke double bed and has two single floor mattresses available.

There are electricity sockets, USB charging points and lighting. The interior has been decked out to a high standard, using aged cedar and repurposed apple wood, which has been hand carved by our friends and local artists Karina and Rob Heard MBE. You will find a log burner to ensure the tent is cosy on colder days. Yarlington is our more secluded tent set back in the apple trees than the others making it perfect for romantic getaway. Outside Yarlington has a covered outside patio area with a fully equipped compact kitchen, and a dining area for you to sit out on and watch the abundant wildlife that calls our orchard home. Here you will find a Webber master touch BBQ for all your outdoor cooking needs.

There is also a designated seating area and firepit, perfect for toasting marshmallows whilst you enjoy the incredibly dark skies offered by the protected Exmoor Dark Skies reserve, one of the darkest places in the country. You will find some books on astronomy and a dark sky guide inside the tent to help you identify what you are looking at and you may wish to download a Sky app onto your mobile phone, on a clear night you might even see the milky-way! The glamping units are situated on the far side of the site, and are well separated from the public areas.

Somerset Cider Safari

For the ultimate family Somerset experience come and stay in our award winning Somerset safari, nestled within the trees of our secluded 6 ½ acre orchard, on the edge of the beautiful Exmoor National Park. All interiors are hand crafted, with the main tent having a kitchenette, an elevated double bed, bathroom with shower, mains electric with heat by way of a lovely wood burner. Outside there is a covered patio area, BBQ and fire pit area, making it the perfect get away, whatever the weather!

The space The Safari tent is set in the middle of our beautiful orchard. There are two tents, the larger one has its own bathroom with shower and fully kitted out compact kitchen with a double elevated bed. There is pull out sofa bed underneath the raised double bed .The other is a smaller tent with two, stacked single beds, designed with children in mind, all within an enclosed patio area. The interiors are hand crafted out to a high standard, using aged cedar and repurposed apple wood, all hand carved by our friends and local artists Karina and Rob Heard, MBE. You will find a log burner to ensure the tent is cosy on colder days.

The smaller tent has a small electric heater to keep the children snug at bedtime and a children’s night light. Externally Somerset Safari Tent has a large decking area with coffee tables and chairs for you to sit out on and watch the abundant wildlife that calls our orchard home. Away from the decking you will find a Webber master touch BBQ for all your outdoor cooking needs and an outside seating around a firepit, perfect for toasting marshmallows whilst you enjoy the incredibly dark skies offered by the protected Exmoor Dark Skies reserve, one of the darkest places in the country.

Inside Torre tipi is hand crafted, a bespoke bed and a mezzanine level for the children to sleep. It has mains electric and lighting with heat by way of a lovely wood burning stove. It has an inside kitchenette, a BBQ and fire pit outside making it the perfect get away, whatever the weather.

The space Torre tipi has been handmade in the UK and is set in the middle of our beautiful, working cider orchard. It sleeps 2 in a bespoke double bed and you will find pull out sofa bed for extra sleeping space. Up on the mezzanine level is two single floor mattress beds, perfect for children. The tipi has been designed with a large family in mind. There is a fully equipped kitchenette, electricity sockets, USB charging points and lighting.

Dedicated toilet and shower can be found in the nearby utilities block, just a few steps away. The interior has been decked out to a high standard, using aged cedar and repurposed apple wood, which has been hand carved by our friends and local artists Karina and Rob Heard MBE. You will find a log burner to ensure the tent is cosy on colder days. Children’s night lights are provided The glamping units are situated on the far side of the site, and are well separated from the public areas. There is a communal utilities block with outdoor sinks and where you will find your allocated toilet and shower solely for your use.

Externally the Tipi has an outside area with a picnic table and chairs for you to sit out on and watch the abundant wildlife that calls our orchard home.
