Warmed by a charming wood burner and fitted with full mains electricity, Yarlington blends rustic comfort with modern convenience. Outside, a hand‑crafted covered kitchen and dining area, along with a BBQ and firepit, make this an idyllic retreat in any weather.

The space Yarlington Yurt was beautifully hand‑crafted in Dorset by Millie’s Yurts and sits at the heart of our orchard. It sleeps two in a bespoke double bed, with two additional single floor mattresses available. Inside, you’ll find power sockets and soft ambient lighting. The interior is finished to a high standard using aged cedar and repurposed apple wood, hand‑carved by local artists Karina and Rob Heard MBE. A cosy log burner keeps the space warm on cooler days. Set slightly deeper within the apple trees than our other tents, Yarlington offers extra privacy — perfect for a romantic getaway.

Outside, enjoy a covered patio with a fully equipped compact kitchen and a peaceful dining area overlooking the wildlife that thrives in our orchard. A Weber Master‑Touch BBQ is ready for all your outdoor cooking adventures.

A dedicated seating area and firepit provide the ideal spot for stargazing under the exceptionally dark skies of the Exmoor Dark Sky Reserve — one of the darkest locations in the UK. Astronomy books and a dark‑sky guide are provided to help you explore the night sky, and on a clear night you may even glimpse the Milky Way. Our glamping units sit on the far side of the site, well separated from public areas, ensuring a peaceful and private stay.
